We are so lucky to have in the shop today, Layne Kennedy who has forgotten more about photography than I'm ever gonna know. And where we wanna go with this is to help you get better pictures of your woodworking projects for whatever purpose you wanna use them for. So, Layne, first give us a little bit of your background and tell us a little bit about Layne Kennedy. Well, I know as much about woodworking as I think most people know about photography. But, using photographs to show off your work is really important for how you wanna showcase your work. So what we're gonna do today is show you a couple different ways that you can really simplify with the most economical methods and still get decent quality photographs from something as simple as your point and shoot, even your iPhone. So we're gonna really dumb it down, make it real simple, make it so you can take pictures of your work and show it off. Sell your work on eBay. What's the other one? Craigslist. Wherever you want. Smithsonian. And have fun. That's the whole point. We're gonna take pictures and have fun and show you how simple it really is. And like the home center cans, you're here to help shed light on the subject for us. Atta boy. All right, enough talking, let's get to work on some photography.
I'm new here. I must be doing something wrong. I only got 1:22 introduction and that's it. What's with this ???
George and Layne--thanks so much for this series. I had always wanted to get better photos of project, but I worried that doing so would require lots of expensive equipment or advanced photography expertise. Very useful, down-to-earth information I will put to good use.
